Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Bowman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Breed. Bowman is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dropkick Murphys - Warriors Code. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws an overhand right that lands on Bowman's shoulder, as Bowman tries to avoid the shot.
Bateman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bowman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bowman lands a two punch combo.
Bowman moves into range and clinches up with Bateman.
Bateman has a couple of punches blocked by Bowman.
Bowman breaks from the clinch.
Bateman lands a slapping body shot.
Bowman scores with a push kick.
Bowman lands a front kick.
Bateman is breathing heavily.
Bateman swings for the body but Bowman moves out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bowman thuds his shin into the meat of Bateman's side.
Bowman cracks Bateman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bateman on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bowman. Bowman obviously looking to wear him down.
Bateman misses with a lunging right hand
and Bowman counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bowman stands up from Bateman's guard - Bowman perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bowman lands a left and a right that send Bateman crashing to the mat, dazed. Bowman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bateman is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bowman is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Bowman shuts the power down on Bateman. Lights out, game over! Bowman is your winner.
