Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allen Bailey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Ecklar!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ecklar throws a counter combo.

Ecklar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bailey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ecklar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bailey tries to work over Ecklar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Bailey breaks the clinch.
Ecklar misses with a two punch combination.
Bailey throws a lazy right hand but Ecklar sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ecklar slaps away a takedown attempt from Bailey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ecklar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bailey darts in trying to clinch
and Ecklar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Bailey thinking.

Ecklar displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bailey.
As Bailey backs off Ecklar throws a huge counter combo but Bailey manages to avoid it all.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Allen Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bailey shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ecklar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bailey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ecklar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ecklar unleashes a big counter combination but Bailey bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Ecklar lands a left and a right that send Bailey crashing to the mat, dazed. Ecklar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Allen Bailey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ecklar forces Bailey back against the cage and clinches.

Ecklar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bailey fails with the takedown

and Ecklar counters by clinching up.
Bailey is breathing heavily.

Ecklar turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Bailey sneaks out the side door and pushes Ecklar away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Ecklar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Ecklar moves into the clinch successfully.
Ecklar controlling the action here for a moment.

Ecklar breaks from the clinch.
Bailey has his takedown stuffed
and Ecklar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Bailey slaps away a takedown attempt from Ecklar, before circling back to the center of the mat.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Ecklar.
A punch combination from Ecklar misses.
Some wild striking there from Bailey.

Ecklar moves into range and clinches up with Bailey.

Ecklar wants to control from the top but Bailey keeps moving.

Ecklar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ecklar stands and steps away. Bailey gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bailey tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ecklar manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Despite the aggression on Ecklar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Ecklar misses with a two punch combination.

Ecklar gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bailey throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ecklar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ecklar lands a left and a right that send Bailey crashing to the mat, dazed. Ecklar thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Bailey is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ecklar wobbles Bailey with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Ecklar dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Bailey to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Logan Ecklar!
