The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov's corner calls for a 1-2. Kuznetsov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Shane Gallagher has been cut.
Kuznetsov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gallagher flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Gallagher is trying to stand.

Gallagher is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Gallagher has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kuznetsov off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Kuznetsov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kuznetsov lands in his opponent's guard.
Gallagher is rocked!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gallagher escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kuznetsov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Kuznetsov goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Gallagher shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kuznetsov but Kuznetsov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gallagher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kuznetsov is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gallagher's half guard.
Kuznetsov decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Let's hope that Kuznetsov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kuznetsov throws a chopping leg kick but Gallagher manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Gallagher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kuznetsov as he jumps to the side.
Kuznetsov lands a big head kick that sends Gallagher tumbling to the mat! Kuznetsov takes a step backwards and waves Gallagher back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Nice takedown defense from Kuznetsov. No joy for Gallagher on that attempt.
Kuznetsov closes the distance looking for a takedown. Gallagher stuffs it but Kuznetsov still has hold of him. Kuznetsov picks Gallagher up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Kuznetsov slams Gallagher to the floor and that's really hurt Gallagher - he doesn't know where he is! Kuznetsov throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
