Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasara forces Duplesris back against the cage and clinches.
Duplesris wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Duplesris is looking to control Vasara's arms but Vasara gets an underhook and turns him. Now Duplesris has his back to the cage.

Vasara escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Duplesris has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sydney Fight Team in the buildup to the fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vasara looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duplesris scores with a hook to the body. Vasara takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Vasara misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Vasara clinches up with Duplesris and pushes him back against the cage.

Duplesris throws a hook to the side of Vasara's head but Vasara sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Duplesris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vasara moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Vasara tries to score with a low kick but Duplesris moves his leg out of the way.

It looks like Sami Vasara has been cut.
Duplesris bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vasara's head backwards.
Vasara takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Vasara throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Duplesris.

Duplesris throws a right and a left that Vasara avoids nicely.
Duplesris connects with a right that clearly hurt Vasara. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Duplesris proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Vasara collapses and taps out under the pressure!
