Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Mayor!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayor throws a leg kick

and Crane counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mayor wants to get back to his feet but Crane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Crane working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mayor's head.
Mayor is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crane is controlling him.
Crane postures up in Mayor's guard and throws a big left but Mayor blocks it.
Crane tries to stand but Mayor is controlling from the bottom.
Mayor told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Mayor wants to get back to his feet but Crane is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Crane distracts Mayor with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mayor is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Crane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mayor pinned against the cage. Mayor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Mayor looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Crane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mayor's guard.
Mayor is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea.

Crane gets to his feet. Mayor looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Mayor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Crane momentarily.

Mayor is looking to stand up but Crane isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Mayor manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crane has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mayor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

A short body shot lands from Crane as the two fighters clinch.
Crane blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Mayor has a couple of punches blocked by Crane.

Mayor tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Crane's elbow.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Crane.

Mayor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tommy Mayor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Crane is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mayor sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Mayor motions for Crane to come forward. Mayor throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Tommy Mayor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Crane is defended easily by Mayor.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - Crane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
It seemed like Mayor was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mayor scores with a one two! Crane had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Crane throws a series of punches but Mayor moves out of range.
Mayor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Mayor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ichabod Crane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Mayor feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Crane sprawling to the canvas! Crane rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mayor finish him?!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mayor weaves into range and cracks Crane right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Crane goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Mayor is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
