Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Benson Whyte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whyte has chosen Bob Marley - Jammin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Benson Whyte told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Whyte lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Anderson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whyte looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Anderson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Anderson has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Anderson has hold of Whyte's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Whyte tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Anderson cranks the arm and Whyte screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Whyte, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). John Anderson!
John Anderson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
In defeat, Benson Whyte stepped up to the mic, saying 'mi got tings to fix, but mi come back stronger, jus you wait an see'.
