Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sam Kensington!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Hastings!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Colin Hastings has been cut.

Hastings moves into range and clinches up with Kensington.
Kensington tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hastings just stands there and leans against the cage.

Hastings breaks from the clinch.
Hastings lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hastings.


It looks like Sam Kensington has been cut.
Nice body punch from Hastings.
Kensington loads up on a big right hand but Hastings slips the punch.
Kensington showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Hastings.
Hastings tries to clinch there but Kensington circles away.

Hastings clinches.
Kensington tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Hastings breaks the clinch.
Kensington waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hastings.
Hastings moves away from the strike by Kensington.
Kensington avoids the head kick by Hastings.
Hastings tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kensington sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hastings somewhat.
Kensington connects with the punch.
Kensington throws a jab when Hastings was well out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kensington scores with a nice head shot.
Hastings throws a series of punches but Kensington moves out of range.
Kensington throws a hook but Hastings blocks it.
Hastings walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Hastings takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hastings takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hastings is still on wobbly legs! Can Kensington finish him?
Kensington throws a hook to the side of Hastings's head but Hastings sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hastings misses with a two punch combination.
Kensington keeps the fight on the outside.
Hastings gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Kensington gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Hastings is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Kensington!
