Kangaroo comes to the cage accompanied by Cryin' Like A Bitch-Godsmackack. Capt Kangaroo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Wrestling!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kangaroo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kangaroo throws a counter high kick but Wrestling was just alert enough to avoid it.
Wrestling stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kangaroo.
Kangaroo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Wrestling shoots in and drives through. Kangaroo sprawls well.
Wrestling fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kangaroo manages to avoid it.
Wrestling throws out a powerful jab.
A big right from Wrestling misses.

Wrestling looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Kangaroo!
Kangaroo is trying to buck Wrestling off.
Wrestling misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Wrestling is chipping away with strikes.
Wrestling is looking to take a break and control but Kangaroo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've been told by Kangaroo's head coaches at LOD - Phoenix Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kangaroo.
Kangaroo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wrestling.
Kangaroo finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kangaroo misses with a head kick.
Wrestling swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Wrestling shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kangaroo is trying to defend but Wrestling finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Wrestling is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kangaroo is just riding it out for now. Wrestling eventually gives up the hold.
Wrestling wants to control but Kangaroo is keeping him busy.
Wrestling lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wrestling maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kangaroo could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wrestling has cracked it and Kangaroo is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wrestling!
