The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picklesworth tries to clinch but Zajic moves away
and Zajic makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Picklesworth really felt that one!
Picklesworth tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Picklesworth drives through with a takedown into Zajic's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Picklesworth takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Zajic fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Picklesworth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Zajic lands a nice looking kick to the body. Picklesworth takes a step back to recover.
Picklesworth chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zajic can pounce on him.

Zajic connects with a solid leg kick.

Zajic connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Jim Picklesworth's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Zajic cracks Picklesworth with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zajic has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Picklesworth to stand back up!

Zajic lands a big uppercut and Picklesworth crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Picklesworth looks OK. Zajic waves Picklesworth back to his feet!
Oh Picklesworth is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Jim Picklesworth's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jim Picklesworth's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
