Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roger Cantor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christian Evansen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evansen slips a jab from Cantor.
A left lands for Evansen.
The crowd cheers as Evansen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cantor doesn't seem phased though.

Cantor scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Cantor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evansen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Evansen passes Cantor's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Cantor manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!



Excellent takedown into side control there by Cantor.
The strikes coming from Cantor are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Cantor creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Evansen sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cantor connects with a nice short shot to Evansen's temple.

Cantor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Evansen pinned against the cage. Evansen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cantor lands a lovely overhand right.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Evansen.

and Evansen makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Roger Cantor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Evansen cracks Cantor with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cantor shoots in for a double leg but Evansen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Evansen moves away from the strike by Cantor.
Cantor takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cantor looks to land a right hand but Evansen moved out of range.
Evansen thinks about the counter body kick.
Evansen lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Evansen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cantor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Christian Evansen.
I've got Evansen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
