The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Small moves into the clinch successfully.
Small makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Jones is trying to drag Small to the mat but Small just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Small softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Jones is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Small gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jones blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jones is working for takedown but Small is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Small prevents the takedown attempt.
A right hook to the body lands for Small.
Jones is trying to drag Small to the mat but Small just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jones has Small pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Small manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
