Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Daath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Troublefield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Troublefield has chosen Hell Song - Sum 41 as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Troublefield takes a swing at Daath's ribcage but misses.
Daath takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Troublefield thows a leg kick but Daath checks it

and Daath counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Troublefield has Daath pulled in close to control his posture.
Daath looking to sit in guard and control but Troublefield gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Troublefield engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Troublefield is pressing down on Daath's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Daath is fighting to break Troublefield's control of his arms but Troublefield is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Daath shoots in for a takedown but Troublefield shows good takedown defense.
We've been informed that Troublefield has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Joey Troublefield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Troublefield slaps away a takedown attempt from Daath, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Troublefield pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Daath throws a half hearted mid kick.

Troublefield drives through with a takedown into guard.
Daath is breathing heavily.

Troublefield feints and as Daath raises his hands in defense, Troublefield changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Daath wants to sweep here but Troublefield controlling him for the moment.
Troublefield has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Daath is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Troublefield looking to hit a scissor sweep but Daath is one step ahead there.

Troublefield keeping moving, preventing Daath from controlling successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Troublefield is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daath wants to control from the top but Troublefield keeps moving.

Troublefield has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Daath is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Troublefield.

Troublefield gets full guard.
Troublefield pulls Daath in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Daath tries to free his leg and advance position but Troublefield is retaining full guard.
Troublefield wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Daath counters with a single leg into guard. Troublefield didn't expect that.

That was a close second round but I would say that Max Daath will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
