Aliukonyte comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hits kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliukonyte tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Martinez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Aliukonyte manages to circle out of the way.

Aliukonyte is looking to get back to is feet but Martinez passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aliukonyte is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Martinez has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Martinez is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Aliukonyte will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Martinez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
