Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramsay Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominic Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoover has chosen Godsmack - I Stand Alone as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darrow has managed to clinch.

With the fighters up against the ropes, Darrow throws an elbow but misses.

Darrow rushes Hoover and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Hoover pushes off an throws an elbow but Darrow leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.

Hoover lands a nice hook to Darrow's body. Darrow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Darrow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Darrow clinches.
Hoover misses with an elbow strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Darrow.
Hoover lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Hoover breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hoover lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Darrow circles away quickly and effectively.
Darrow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hoover as he avoids it easily.
Hoover jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Hoover moves out of range of the body kick.
Darrow feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hoover's calf.
Hoover lands a jab to Darrow's midsection.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Darrow.

Hoover drops Darrow with a beautiful combination! Darrow stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hoover is looking for the KO!

Darrow is rocked!

Hoover wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Oh Darrow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoover connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Darrow covering up! Hoover comes in with a big uppercut and Darrow goes doooown! He's slumped up against the ropes, eyes staring blankly into space.

After the fight, Dominic Hoover was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
