Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zane Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aminullah Jawed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aminullah Jawed has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zane Howard's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawed lands with a nice combination. Howard backs away looking to recover.
Howard has a takedown stuffed.
Jawed throws a counter combo.
Jawed misses with a jab, cross combination.

Jawed drives through with a takedown into guard.
Howard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jawed on the ground.
Howard is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jawed is controlling him.

Jawed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Howard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jawed has managed to get both his arms back between Howard's legs - danger averted.

Jawed is working for a guillotine from mount but Howard frees his head quite easily.

Jawed looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Jawed has hold of Howard's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Howard manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jawed throws some wild stikes that Howard manages to avoid easily.
Howard really wants to buck Jawed off and get back to his feet.
Howard could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Jawed goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Howard is on top in guard.

Jawed shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jawed showed some decent athleticism there.
Howard scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jawed manages to mount him!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jawed jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Howard is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Howard and Jawed has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Jawed decides to stand back up. Jawed steps back and let's Howard get back to his feet.
Jawed throws a series of punches but Howard avoids them all with ease.
Jawed scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Howard enables Jawed to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Howard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jawed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Howard circles away quickly and effectively.

Howard gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Howard dives in for a single leg takedown but Jawed sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

and Howard counters with a single leg into guard. Jawed didn't expect that.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Howard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jawed fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Howard to the ground. Jawed is now in Howard's guard.

Jawed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Howard circles away quickly and effectively.
Jawed lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Aminullah Jawed showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Howard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Jawed has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Howard is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jawed looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Aminullah Jawed has got the better of the ground game so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Howard accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howard stops Jawed from standing up.
Howard stays in close to Jawed's body and controls the position.
Jawed utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Jawed wants to stand but Howard is controlling the position.

Howard wants to control from the top but Jawed keeps moving.

Jawed has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Howard off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Jawed throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Howard was covering up waiting for the punch and Jawed finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Howard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jawed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jawed gets to his feet - Howard follows without any prompting.

Jawed lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Jawed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Howard manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jawed keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Well Jawed has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
