Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Gus or perhaps it was just good defense by Young, which made it look bad.
Young is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Gus.
Gus clinches up with Young and pushes him back against the cage.
Young has hold of one of Gus's legs. Gus is fighting the takedown attempt but Young gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Gus is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Young drops back looking for a leg! Gus is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gus manages to kick Young off! Young jumps back into Gus's guard.
Young working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Young's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Young trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Young stands and steps away. Gus gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Young shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gus defends it nicely.

Young is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gus is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Young to the mat. Young regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Young tightens his grip and picks Gus up, before dumping him to the ground. Gus manages to land in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Young drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Young jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Young working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gus's head.

Young wants to stand but Gus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gus has his foot on Young's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Young works his way back into a safe position though.

Young is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Gus is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Gus has escaped and now he's on top!

Young is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gus postures up and lands a big shot to Young's brow.

Young controls Gus momentarily but Gus frees himself.
Gus wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving.
Gus wants to pass the guard but Young is keeping the position.
Gus stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Young has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Gus manages to get his head free but now Young has transitioned to an armbar! Gus grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Young! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
