Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendrik Down (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Down has chosen Let's Go as his entrance music. Michael Koko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kendrik Down's chin.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down lands a jab to the head.
Koko misses with a straight right.
Koko feints and then cracks Down's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Down down.
A big left from Koko misses.
Koko scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Kendrik Down has been cut.
Down throws a shot from downtown. Koko moves away and avoids it.
Koko looks for the body kick but Down saw that one coming.
Koko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Koko misses with a leg kick.
Koko's jab looks to have found its range, popping Down under the eye.
Down tries to clinch but Koko is having none of it.
Down takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Down walks into a left hand.

Down is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koko lands a left and a right that send Down crashing to the mat, dazed. Koko thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Down is still on wobbly legs! Can Koko finish him?
Koko seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Koko has taken the fight to the clinch.
Down lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Down blocks an elbow strike.
Down seems to have recovered his senses.
Koko lands with a short shot to the head.
Koko throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Downs head.
Koko is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Koko lands a shot to the body.
Koko lands a nice elbow.
Down goes for a takedown attempt but Koko pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Koko takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Down tries to score a power double leg takedown but Koko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Down somewhat.
Down rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Koko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Down thinking.
Koko scores with a punch to the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Koko pushes Down up against the cage in a clinch.
Koko lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Koko looking to throw knees to the head but Down is blocking nicely.
Down blocks an uppercut.
Koko has Down pressed against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Down.
Koko swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Down cracks Koko with a nice body shot.
Koko displaying some good clinch control by pressing Down up against the cage.
Koko blocks a body shot from Down.
Koko lands a left hand.
Koko stalls.
Down prevents a body shot from Koko.

Down tries to circle away but Koko has him pinned against the cage.
Down tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Koko's elbow.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Down goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Koko lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Down pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Down shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Koko cracks Down with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Down falls to his knees and Koko doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
