PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isamu Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elijah Judah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamada comes to the ring accompanied by Yoshida Brothers - Ibuki. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Elijah Judah!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Judah manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Yamada on his heels. He'll look to pass Yamada's guard now, I'm sure.

Yamada has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yamada is really struggling to control Judah but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Yamada drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yamada jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Yamada is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Judah sees it coming and defends easily.

Yamada is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Yamada is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Yamada seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Judah is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Our winner, Isamu Yamada, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
