The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Krauss but Krauss pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Krauss rushes Green and presses him up against the cage.
Green tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Krauss just stands there and leans against the cage.
Krauss wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Green has him pressed against the cage.

Krauss has clasped his hands together around Green's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Green tries to bench press Krauss off him but Krauss keeps the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've been informed that Green has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
