It looked like Thompson was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mathiesen looks to land a combination but Thompson avoids it well.
Thompson misses with a series of wild punches.
Mathiesen tries for a takedown but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thompson tries to bum rush Mathiesen with a series of wild strikes but Mathiesen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thompson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
