Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamison Espinoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hercules Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzalez forces Espinoza back against the cage and clinches.

Gonzalez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Espinoza clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Espinoza manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.

Espinoza gets caught flat footed, as Gonzalez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gonzalez has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Espinoza is proving hard to escape from.

Let's hope that Gonzalez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Gonzalez enables Espinoza to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Gonzalez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Gonzalez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Espinoza has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Gonzalez has his feet on Espinoza's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Espinoza gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gonzalez regains guard.

Gonzalez is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Espinoza is trying to pull guard but Gonzalez turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Gonzalez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Espinoza walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Espinoza wants to take the fight to the mat but Gonzalez manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Espinoza goes for a takedown attempt but Gonzalez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Espinoza looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gonzalez is fending him off so far but Espinoza persists. Nope, Gonzalez circles away and we're back to standing.

Espinoza dives in for a single leg takedown but Gonzalez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gonzalez wants to counter with a clinch but Espinoza pushes him away.

Gonzalez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Espinoza was covering up waiting for the punch and Gonzalez finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Espinoza has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gonzalez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Espinoza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gonzalez as he avoids it easily.
Gonzalez is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Gonzalez darts in looking for a takedown but Espinoza gets double underhooks and turns Gonzalez into the cage.

Espinoza takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gonzalez is defended easily by Espinoza.
Espinoza attempts a counter takedown but Gonzalez avoids it well and moves away.

and Espinoza counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Espinoza.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonzalez is pressed up against the cage. Espinoza has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gonzalez down to the mat. Gonzalez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Gonzalez drops back looking for a leg! Espinoza is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Espinoza manages to kick Gonzalez off! Gonzalez jumps back into Espinoza's guard.

Gonzalez gets to his feet - Espinoza follows without any prompting.

Espinoza tries to keep at a distance but Gonzalez has taken the fight into the clinch.

Espinoza tries to hold on but Gonzalez pushes him away.
Espinoza is desperately trying to improve his position but Gonzalez has a good base and remains in mount.
Gonzalez cracks Espinoza with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Gonzalez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Espinoza tries to reverse the position but Gonzalez maintains control.

Espinoza postures up and lands a big shot to Gonzalez's brow.

Espinoza loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

and Espinoza counters with a good low kick that Gonzalez was not able to check.

Gonzalez shoots for a double leg takedown but Espinoza sprawls well. He's pushed Gonzalez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gonzalez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Espinoza tries to avoid it but Gonzalez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Espinoza to the ground. Espinoza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gonzalez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Gonzalez fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Jamison Espinoza has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hercules Gonzalez is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That kick from Espinoza tenderised Gonzalez's leg. Gonzalez is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hercules Gonzalez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gonzalez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
