Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Manjuelez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emiliano Zapata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manjuelez's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, el Jarabe Tapatio. Zapata is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: EINA. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emiliano Zapata!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Manjuelez is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Zapata knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
