The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levanato rushes Bruno and presses him up against the ropes.
Levanato breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Levanato lands with an overhand left.
Bruno pushes Levanato up against the ropes in a clinch.
Bruno is looking to control Levanato's arms but Levanato gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bruno has his back to the ropes.

Levanato throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bruno on the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Levanato.
Levanato lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bruno takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Levanato, right into the meat.
Bruno takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Peralka Levanato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bruno takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Levanato scores with a nice right hand.
Levanato connects with a quick right hand that sends Bruno tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
