The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johansson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Anoai controls Johansson momentarily but Johansson frees himself.
Johansson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anoai can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anoai content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Johansson has locked up a guillotine! Johansson's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Anoai is holding on here and Johansson must be using up a lot of energy. Anoai has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Johansson gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
