Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker gets caught flat footed, as Benson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tucker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Benson is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benson passes into half guard.
Tucker wants to improve his position but Benson is controlling well.
Benson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tucker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Benson wants to get up but he can't break Tucker's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Benson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tucker shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Tucker was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Abdul Tucker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Karl Benson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Well Benson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
