The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yiftos misses with a head kick.
Yiftos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Reynolds uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Yiftos.
Yiftos missing with a left hand there. Reynolds was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Reynolds just misses with a punch to the body.
Yiftos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reynolds.

Yiftos throws a nice looking combination but Reynolds bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

We've been hearing reports that Yiftos has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Yiftos isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Reynolds stacks Yiftos on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Reynolds!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Yiftos changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Reynolds looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sisa Yiftos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Reynolds is looking to regain half guard here but Yiftos keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yiftos has hold of Reynolds's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Reynolds seems comfortable defending it but Yiftos has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Reynolds is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Reynolds is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Yiftos couldn't care less - he's delighted!
