The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Animai throws a half hearted mid kick.
Animai throws a head kick that misses
and Kuzmejniev counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kuzmejniev fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Animai is out of range.
Kuzmejniev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kuzmejniev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kuzmejniev throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Animai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kuzmejniev lands a big head kick that sends Animai tumbling to the mat! Kuzmejniev takes a step backwards and waves Animai back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Animai is rocked!
It looks like Keimah Animai has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Animai is aggressively charging in as Kuzmejniev backs up avoiding any damage. Kuzmejniev tosses out a jab and Animai runs right into it face first! Animai is out cold! Kuzmejniev dropped down on all fours and is barking in Animai's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zlato Kuzmejniev!
Zlato Kuzmejniev made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I came for the KO, thank you for your support.'.
