Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stan Dupp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Te Shudo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupp avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dupp connects with a single shot there.
Dupp definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shudo takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nice cross by Shudo.
Dupp swats away the attempt to clinch by Shudo.
Dupp connects with a body shot that sends Shudo's belly button to the back.
Dupp lands a jab-cross combination.
Shudo looks to land a right hand but Dupp moved out of range.
Shudo misses with a hook.
Shudo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dupp paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Shudo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dupp misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Shudo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dupp, pushing him back against the ropes.
Shudo misses with the head strike.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dupp tries to break the clinch but Shudo is controlling the position.

Shudo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dupp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dupp throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A big left from Shudo misses.
Shudo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shudo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A combination from Shudo does no damage.

Shudo clinches up against the ropes.
Dupp working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Dupp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shudo has him pressed against the ropes.
Dupp blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head punch on the inside from Shudo fails to land.
Shudo misses with a hook from the clinch.
Shudo blocks an uppercut.
Dupp misses with a hook from the clinch.

Shudo breaks the clinch.
Dupp scores with the left hand. Shudo knows he should have avoided that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dupp fails to land with a series of punches.
Shudo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Dupp paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dupp throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dupp tests Shudo's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Shudo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dupp moves away.
Dupp listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dupp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Dupp slips under a jab from Shudo.
Dupp swings for the body but Shudo moves out of range.
Nice uppercut there from Dupp.
Shudo pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Shudo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dupp uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shudo.
It looked like Dupp wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Shudo is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Shudo looks to throw the jab but Dupp is out of range.
Dupp keeps the fight on the outside.
Shudo misses with a looping right.
Shudo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dupp with a hook.
Dupp lands with a right hand.
Dupp keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Shudo.
A telegraphed right hand from Shudo misses the target.
Dupp swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shudo.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dupp sizes up Shudo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Left hook, right uppercut from Dupp.


Shudo is rocked!
Dupp lands a glancing blow to the side of Shudo's head.
Shudo is still on wobbly legs! Can Dupp finish him?
Dupp drops Shudo with a big left hand! Shudo is injured, injured bad! Dupp jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Dupp!
