Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Anywhere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sota Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari has chosen Die for Metal as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sankari misses with a kick to the body.
Anywhere tries a head kick but it misses.
Anywhere throws a head kick but Sankari moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Anywhere.

It looks like Mr Anywhere has been cut.

Anywhere seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Anywhere throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Anywhere misses with a head kick.
Anywhere will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sankari let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Good standup being displayed there by Sankari as he connects with a hook.
Sankari scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Sankari punishes Anywhere's body with a nice straight punch.
Anywhere is breathing heavily.
Sankari lunges at Anywhere with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Anywhere's hand.
Anywhere takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sankari closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Anywhere out cold! Anywhere corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sota Sankari!
Sota Sankari bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
