Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connor McGuinness!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 38 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Maximus Scott!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuinness is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott.
McGuinness scores with a shot to the body.
Scott takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Scott paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
McGuinness throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Maximus Scott has been cut.
Scott misses with a right hand
letting McGuinness counter with a right hand.
McGuinness uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Scott.
Scott takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
McGuinness throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McGuinness throws a combination. Scott tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Scott rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McGuinness counters with a big right hand! Oh Scott is in trouble here! McGuinness follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Connor McGuinness!
In his post fight interview, Connor McGuinness started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Maximus Scott spoke after the fight, saying 'Well, that didn't go as planned!'.
