Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Michal Wyrzykowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Em (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Boris Em enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michal Wyrzykowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boris Em!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Em manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wyrzykowski on his heels. He'll look to pass Wyrzykowski's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Em stops Wyrzykowski from standing up.
Em stands and throws Wyrzykowski's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Em is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wyrzykowski has escaped the position, nice work there.
Em controls the position.
Em creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Em works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Em in side control, just content to control the action for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Em working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Wyrzykowski is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Em decides to stand back up.

Wyrzykowski feints and as Em raises his hands in defense, Wyrzykowski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Em manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Wyrzykowski lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Wyrzykowski lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Em backs up against the cage.
Michal Wyrzykowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Em shoots in and bounces Wyrzykowski off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Em drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Em jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Em is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wyrzykowski is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wyrzykowski has escaped and now he's on top!

Wyrzykowski is looking to stand up but Em won't let him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Em is keen to just control but Wyrzykowski is a slippery customer.

Em is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wyrzykowski sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Em is working for a submission of some sort.
Em trying to control from half guard but Wyrzykowski is working away.

Em is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Em is breathing heavily.

Wyrzykowski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Em defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Em is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wyrzykowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Em.

Em is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Wyrzykowski has managed to free his arm - good work.
Em slips a nice elbow through Wyrzykowski's hands, connecting with Wyrzykowski's forehead.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wyrzykowski is not content to let Em control the position.

Boris Em showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Wyrzykowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Wyrzykowski shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Wyrzykowski was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Em shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Em drops an elbow to the side of Wyrzykowski's head.

Em is working for a kimura but Wyrzykowski is defending it quite comfortably.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Em lands a nice short elbow.

Wyrzykowski makes his way to full guard, as Em worked for a kimura.
Wyrzykowski will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Em postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Wyrzykowski is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Em, into his guard.

Em takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Em not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Em escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wyrzykowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wyrzykowski trying to control but Em is working from the bottom.

Em is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wyrzykowski defends well.
Wyrzykowski won't allow Em to sweep him here.
Em wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Wyrzykowski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Em is looking for a triangle but Wyrzykowski pushes his legs off easily.
Wyrzykowski has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wyrzykowski is looking to stand up but Em won't let him.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Em misses with a wild combination.
Em showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wyrzykowski.
Em throws a fast counter high kick but Wyrzykowski manages to duck under it in time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Em is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wyrzykowski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Michal Wyrzykowski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wyrzykowski keeps Em at a distance using the push kick.
Michal Wyrzykowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boris Em is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wyrzykowski throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Em's head.

I would just about give that final round to Boris Em.
I've got Em winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
