Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Eddard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamezdin Shraf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shraf is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: O.C. - time's up . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shraf connects with a looping right hand.
Eddard scores with a jab to the body.
Shraf has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Eddard is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Shraf looks to land a left hand but Eddard moved out of range nicely.
Shraf throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Eddard counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shraf thinking.
Shraf scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Eddard bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Eddard throws a hook but Shraf blocks it.
Shraf throws out a counter right but Eddard avoids it with no problem.
A big left from Eddard misses.
Shraf swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Shraf fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shraf misses with a left hand
and Eddard counters with a stiff right hand.
Shraf ducks under a wild hook from Eddard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Shraf throws a lazy right hand but Eddard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Eddard or perhaps it was just good defense by Shraf, which made it look bad.

Shraf scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jamezdin Shraf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shraf's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Eddard connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Shraf scrambles back to his feet.
Shraf loads up on a big right hand but Eddard slips the punch.
Eddard on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Shraf throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Shraf paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Eddard.
Shraf looks to land a left hand but Eddard moved out of range nicely.
Shraf throws the left hand but Eddard avoids the punch easily.
Eddard throws a big counter combination but Shraf scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Shraf tests Eddard's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Eddard misses with a two punch combination.
Eddard takes one on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Eddard throws a lazy uppercut
and Shraf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shraf displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Eddard throws out the jab.
Eddard takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Shraf throws an off balance right hand
and Eddard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Shraf sizes up Eddard with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Eddard closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eddard with the ground and pound but Shraf regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Eddard lands with a punch from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shraf has hold of Eddard's hands but Eddard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shraf gets back to full guard.
We've been hearing that Eddard has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Shraf working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eddard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eddard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Shraf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eddard's guard.
Eddard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shraf is one step ahead there.

Shraf's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Eddard is pulling down on Shraf's head to control his posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Eddard is on top in guard.
Shraf is looking to cinch up a triangle. Eddard throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Shraf's body to avoid the submission. Shraf has instead reached around Eddard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Shraf arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jamezdin Shraf!
