Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hilario Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angad Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angad Singh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hilario Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Angad Singh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Allen to the ground. Singh is now in Allen's guard.
Singh with a flurry of punches that miss.
Singh cracks Allen with a solid left hand.
Allen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Allen really is a fat lump.
Allen is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Allen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Singh postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Singh stands and steps away. Allen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Singh uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Singh feints and as Allen raises his hands in defense, Singh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Singh stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Allen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Allen is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Singh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Singh's back!

Singh is in a bad position with Allen working for a choke. Singh manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Singh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Allen's guard.

Singh decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Singh drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Singh is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Singh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Singh has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Singh shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Allen is trying to defend but Singh finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Singh connects with a nice short shot to Allen's temple.
Singh lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Allen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Singh is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Angad Singh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Allen wants to get up but he can't break Singh's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Well Singh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
