Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Mayhew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Terry Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Darren Mayhew!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Daniel Franklin and Santiago Holmes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayhew misses with an uppercut.
Mayhew shoots for a takedown but Allen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mayhew has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Allen finds it's way round the side to connect with Mayhew's head.
Allen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Allen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Allen manages to break the clinch.
Mayhew takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Allen is looking to slow Mayhew down with leg kicks.
Mayhew looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Allen rushes Mayhew and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Allen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mayhew takes the fight into the clinch.
Allen gets underhooks to prevent Mayhew's takedown attempt.
Mayhew looks winded!
Mayhew blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Allen manages to pull guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Allen wants to sweep here but Mayhew controlling him for the moment.

Allen trying to keep a closed guard but Mayhew is proving a slippery customer.
Allen pulls Mayhew in to control the position.
Mayhew trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Mayhew tries to stand but Allen is controlling from the bottom.
Mayhew in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Mayhew gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mayhew fails with a takedown attempt.
Terry Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darren Mayhew.

Allen shoots in and gets a takedown into Mayhew's guard.

Mayhew wants to stand and escape but Allen is having none of it.
Allen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mayhew's head.
Mayhew keeping moving, preventing Allen from controlling successfully.
Allen is standing up over Mayhew. Mayhew looks to escape but Allen dives into side control.

Allen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mayhew keeps working.

Mayhew is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Allen asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Allen lands a nice forearm strike.

Allen is looking to take a break and control but Mayhew is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Mayhew tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Allen easily slips into full mount!
Allen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
