Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Kinney clinches with his opponent.

Pug is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kinney can't fight it off and eventually Pug manages to take the fight to the floor. Kinney looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Pug wants to pass the guard but Kinney is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pug postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kinney is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pug, into his guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pug is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kinney has escaped the position, nice work there.

Kinney is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pug is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Pug tries to push Kinney's head away but Kinney is holding on tight.

Pug throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kinney was covering up waiting for the punch and Pug finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pug wants to control from the top but Kinney keeps moving.
Pug has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
