PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Adrien Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adrien Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Blade!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice jab there from Blade.
Blade with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blade moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva misses the shot to the body.
Silva walks into a jab.
Blade swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Blade looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Silva throws a predictable looking body shot
and Blade counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Blade works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Blade steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Blade dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Silva. That did some damage!
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blade scores with a leg kick.

Silva drives through and clinches with Blade against the ropes.

Blade breaks the clinch.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch but Blade swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blade ducks under a wild hook from Silva.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva swinging wildly here.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blade was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.
Blade cracks Silva with a good jab.

Silva is rocked!

Blade closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Silva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Blade breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blade knocks out Silva with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Blade before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Blade picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jake Blade!
A very excited looking Jake Blade made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
