Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zedd Jebb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Mangreg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mangreg comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Livin' on a Prayer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters circling a little - Jebb finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Jebb blocks a low kick nicely.
Jebb swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Mangreg counter with a right hand.

Jebb closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jebb lands in his opponent's guard.

Mangreg bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jebb's guard.

Mangreg must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Harry Mangreg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mangreg throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jebb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mangreg is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jebb is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mangreg has his hands clasped together but Jebb extends and breaks Mangreg's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jebb.
