Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ravi Shankoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacks Sole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shankoli comes to the cage accompanied by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ravi Shankoli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sole throws a body shot but no joy.
Sole throws out a leg kick but Shankoli moves out of range and Sole only half commits.
It looked like Shankoli was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Shankoli tries to bum rush Sole with a series of wild strikes but Sole uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sole blocks the body kick.
Sole scores with a jab. Shankoli acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Shankoli chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sole can pounce on him.
Shankoli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Shankoli lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sole throws a low kick but Shankoli avoids it.
Sole chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Shankoli can pounce on him.
Sole uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shankoli.
And Sole tries to counter it with a takedown but Shankoli pushes his down on his head and steps out.

As Sole looks to move away, Shankoli throws a big counter combo but Sole just gets out of the way.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That kick from Shankoli tenderised Sole's leg. Sole is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sole is nestled in close to Shankoli, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Sole looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Shankoli with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
