Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arthas Menethil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otso Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menethil's entrance music is Arthas - Let it go. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthas Menethil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otso Koski!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Menethil avoids the body shot from Koski.
Menethil defending well as Koski loads up on a big left hand.
Koski sizes up Menethil with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Koski swings for the body but Menethil moves out of range.
Danga de danga de dang - Menethil scores with a four punch combination!
Menethil moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Koski takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Koski moves into the clinch successfully.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Menethil takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Koski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Menethil tries to work over Koski's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Koski stands and steps away. Menethil gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

A close round but Otso Koski will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Koski feints and then cracks Menethil's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Menethil down.

Otso Koski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Menethil throws a half hearted mid kick.
Koski has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Menethil throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Koski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Menethil is in Koski's guard.
Koski lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Menethil pulls Koski in close to prevent any damage.

Menethil is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Koski is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Menethil has a closed guard, preventing Koski from standing up.

Menethil is looking for a triangle but Koski pushes his legs off easily.
Koski would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Koski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Koski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Menethil keeps working.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Menethil drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Koski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Menethil has Koski in his guard.

Otso Koski is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Menethil is looking to control Koski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Menethil avoid being mounted?
Arthas Menethil has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Still in half guard, Koski seems content to control.

I would just about give that final round to Otso Koski.
I've got Koski winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
