Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Graig Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Graig Mullen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Parker!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker looks to clinch

and Mullen counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Parker is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mullen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Parker pulls his leg out and moves away.
Parker lands with a kick to the temple. Mullen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Mullen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Parker shoots in and gets a takedown into Mullen's guard.
Mullen is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Parker dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mullen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Mullen stops Parker from passing to mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mullen struggling a bit here.
Mullen is trying to improve his position.
Parker lands a few punches from side control.
You can see the frustration on Mullen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Parker trying to control the action but Mullen is working from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mullen tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Mullen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Mullen holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Parker tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mullen tries to hold on but Parker pushes him away.
Parker throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mullen tries to control the position but Parker now has his back.
Mullen trying to control the hands but Parker won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Parker is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Parker biding his time, looking for the opening.
Parker trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Mullen biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mullen is trying to stand back up.
Mullen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Parker is looking for the choke from the back position but Mullen is controlling his hands well.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mullen breaks Parker's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Mullen controlling from the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Parker dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Parker has closed the distance and engaged Mullen in a clinch.
Mullen tries for a takedown. No joy.
Mullen tries to break the clinch but Parker is controlling the position.
Mullen has Parker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Mullen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Parker uses from the top position.
Mullen wants to sweep here but Parker controlling him for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Parker trying to control but Mullen is working from the bottom.
Mullen pulls Parker in close to prevent any damage.

Parker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Mullen looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Mullen pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!
