The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fest tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Gracie counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Fun Fest has been cut.
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie tries to sprawl but Fest drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gracie makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fest shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gracie as he avoids it easily.
Fest looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Good standup being displayed there by Gracie as he connects with a hook.
BOOM! Gracie lands a beautiful left hook that drops Fest. Fest tries to recover but Gracie is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Fest lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Holden Gracie!
