Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gregory Morris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Khalab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abdul Khalab will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdul Khalab!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalab clinches with his opponent.
Morris misses with a punch to the body.
Morris lands a body shot.
Khalab lands a nice uppercut.
It looks like Gregory Morris has been cut.
Morris can't get the takedown.
Morris goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Morris manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Khalab engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Khalab won't allow Morris to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khalab postures up.
Morris is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Khalab is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morris has his foot on Khalab's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Khalab works his way back into a safe position though.
Morris is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Khalab is stalling in the full guard.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Khalab tries to clinch but Morris moves out of range.
Khalab darts in and clinches Morris up against the cage.
Khalab lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Morris is looking to control Khalab's arms but Khalab gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morris has his back to the cage.
Morris successfully pulls guard.
Morris looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khalab is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morris has his hands on Khalab's head, controlling the position.
Khalab stays in close to Morris's body and controls the position.
Morris wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Morris trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Morris manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Khalab manages to get himself to full guard.
Morris sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Khalab's guard.
Morris is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Khalab is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gregory Morris!
