The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quik displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yu throws out the jab.
Yu throws a low kick but Quik moves out of range easily.
Yu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Quik misses with a body kick.
Yu tried to score with a low kick but Quik checks it.
Quik ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Yu throws a leg kick which misses Quik's front leg but catches the back leg as Quik tries to avoid it.
Quik looks to land a combination. Yu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yu. Quik does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quik pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Yu back to the cage. Quik follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Quik appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Yu tries to move into range but Quik moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Yu motions for Quik to come forward. Yu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Quik looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Yu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Quik connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yu. Yu circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Quik is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Yu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Quik stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Quik looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yu is fending him off so far but Quik persists. Nope, Yu circles away and we're back to standing.
Quik chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yu can pounce on him.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Yu has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Quik.
Quik sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A nice inside leg kick there by Yu. That's going to slow Quik down.
Quik misses with a looping left.

Quik lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Quik lands with a right that hurts Yu. Yu looks to clinch but Quik throws a short knee that drops Yu. This one is all over!
