PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexandr Nikitin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Serge Spectre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikitin comes to the cage accompanied by Smack My Bitch Up . Spectre has chosen Die for Metal as his entrance music. Serge Spectre will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikitin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Spectre circles away.
Spectre just misses with a punch to the body.
Spectre throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nikitin moves out of range as Spectre strikes.
Nikitin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Spectre finds it's way round the side to connect with Nikitin's head.

Nikitin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Spectre with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Nikitin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nikitin manages to end up in side control.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nikitin in particular looking to stall.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nikitin ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nikitin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Nikitin drives through with a takedown into Spectre's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Nikitin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Spectre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nikitin has Spectre in his guard.

Alexandr Nikitin showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Spectre has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Serge Spectre rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
