Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Myron Cardenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul Johnson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cardenas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Johnson somewhat.

Johnson drives through and clinches with Cardenas against the cage.

Cardenas gets control of Johnson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cardenas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cardenas tries to strike from the bottom.
Cardenas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Cardenas continues to stall.
Cardenas really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cardenas throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cardenas has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Johnson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Cardenas has tightened it up now! Johnson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
