The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luciano digs a good body shot into Orsini's ribs.
Luciano tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Luciano avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Orsini scores with a shot to the body.
Orsini throws a leg kick but Luciano checks it.
Orsini throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Luciano thinks about countering with a head kick.
Orsini scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Luciano slips under a jab from Orsini.
Orsini cracks Luciano with a right hand to the side of the head.
Orsini misses with a body shot
and Luciano counters with a nice body shot.
Orsini lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Orsini connects with a body shot that sends Luciano's belly button to the back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Orsini fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Luciano.
Orsini tries to bum rush Luciano with a series of wild strikes but Luciano uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A lazy left from Orsini finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Luciano slips a jab from Orsini.
Orsini swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Orsini throws a hook but Luciano blocks it.
Orsini takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Luciano's corner calls for a 1-2. Luciano obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Emilio Orsini has been cut.
Orsini misses with a shot to the body
and Orsini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Luciano scores with a nice body kick.
Orsini looks winded!
Orsini fails in his attempt to clinch.
Luciano appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Some wild striking there from Luciano.
Orsini wants to clinch up but Luciano keeps it at a distance.
Orsini darts in trying to clinch
and Luciano counters with a nice kick to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut there from Luciano.
Orsini on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Luciano. Luciano obviously looking to wear him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Orsini sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Luciano cracks Orsini with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Luciano thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Orsini if he has to take too many more of those.
Orsini walks straight into a right hand from Luciano - that's dropped him! Luciano jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Orsini from any more punishment! Orsini complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Jose Carlos Luciano!
