Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Third Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Third Fist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Ward!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fist lands a nice shot to the body.
Fist darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ward looks for a takedown but Fist sprawls well.
Ward has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Fist throws the left hand but Ward avoids the punch easily.
Fist lands a nice shot to the body.
Fist waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ward.
Fist throws the left hand but Ward avoids the punch easily.
Ward clobbers Fist with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Ward scores with a takedown into Fist's guard.

Fist is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ward is aware though and is defending well.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Fist is looking for a triangle but Ward pushes his legs off easily.

Fist has an active guard here but Ward has managed to pass into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ward working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fist wants to improve his position but Ward is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ward is nestled in close to Fist, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Ward content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Ward looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Fist is trying to stand.
Ward perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fist is pressing down on Ward's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Ward with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Fist is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ward defends well.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Fist is looking for a triangle but Ward pushes his legs off easily.
Ward controls from within his opponent's guard.
Ward chips away with some ground and pound.
Ward working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Ward pushes down on Fist's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Fist is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ward pulls his head out easily.

Ward seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fist does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fist is looking for a sweep.
Ward trying to control the position but Fist is working away.
Ward lands a decent elbow from side control.

Fist being controlled for a moment.
Ward cracks Fist with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Ward tries for a kimura but Fist is defending well.
Ward lands some shots froms side control.
Ward lands a nice forearm strike.

Ward tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ward cracks Fist with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Ward immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Fist is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Ward!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Ward!
Greg Ward spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Third Fist spoke after the fight, saying 'Did you fart or is that your breath??'.
