Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neo Wiggin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neo Wiggin!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wiggin has closed the distance and engaged Gonzalez in a clinch.
Wiggin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Wiggin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gonzalez's brow.
Wiggin tries to work over Gonzalez's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Wiggin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gonzalez's elbow.
Gonzalez tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wiggin lands an elbow inside.
Wiggin pushes Gonzalez back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Wiggin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Wiggin lands an elbow that stopped Gonzalez in his tracks for a moment.


It looks like Miguel Gonzalez has been cut.
Wiggin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

A nice right hand lands inside from Wiggin.

With the fighters up against the cage, Wiggin throws an elbow but misses.

Wiggin has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Gonzalez seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Wiggin can turn it around.

Gonzalez gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wiggin crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gonzalez - the referee stops the clock and Wiggin gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gonzalez. Wiggin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gonzalez dives in and grabs Wiggin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wiggin pushes down on Gonzalez's head and hops out.

Wiggin stuffs the takedown attempt from Gonzalez. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miguel Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wiggin scores with a hook.
Gonzalez misses with a wild body shot.
Miguel Gonzalez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzalez looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wiggin lands a nice shot that snaps Gonzalez's head back.
Gonzalez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gonzalez throws a lazy right hand but Wiggin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A nice side step and Wiggin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Gonzalez throws a lazy head kick
and Wiggin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gonzalez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A chopping leg kick lands by Wiggin.
Gonzalez gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Wiggin moves into the clinch.
Gonzalez tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Gonzalez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wiggin misses with the head strike.

Wiggin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wiggin throws an elbow but misses.
Wiggin has a couple of punches blocked by Gonzalez.
Wiggin stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gonzalez blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wiggin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gonzalez up against the cage.
Gonzalez is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Wiggin is defending well.
Wiggin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Wiggin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Gonzalez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Wiggin to counter with a crisp jab.
Wiggin is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Gonzalez lands with a shot to the body.
A big right from Gonzalez misses.
Gonzalez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wiggin's waist but Wiggin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gonzalez off to one side.

Gonzalez is rocked!
Wiggin drops Gonzalez with a naaaaasty hook - Gonzalez is in real trouble here! Wiggin dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Neo Wiggin!
Neo Wiggin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Miguel Gonzalez spoke after the fight, saying 'Ill be Back'.
