The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple misses with the combination.
Apple tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
It looked like Pending was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Apple.
Pending thinks about countering with a head kick.
Apple lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pending avoids the head kick by Apple.
Pending tries to counter with a takedown but Apple is quick to defend against it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Apple looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pending tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Apple manages to circle out of the way.
