Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gigante Pesado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Halftard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gigante Pesado has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gigante Pesado seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesado tries to score a power double leg takedown but Halftard sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pesado somewhat.
Halftard swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Halftard scores with a nice head shot.
Pesado tries to clinch but Halftard moves out of range.
Pesado tries to close the distance and clinch up but Halftard swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Pesado has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pesado gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Halftard pushes Pesado back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Pesado breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pesado tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Halftard scores with a shot to the body.
Pesado takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Halftard drops Pesado with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pesado looks back up at him and smiles so Halftard waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pesado is rocked!
Halftard throws a pinpoint strike between Pesado's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Pesado crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Halftard scores a great knockout victory!
